what to do with greek yogurt:

Having only one container
to do multiple jobs
saves waste & fridge space.
Light bulb moment!
in the past, we've had both low fat sour cream, for things like tacos, baked potatoes, and miscellaneous recipes and low fat vanilla yogurt, for my breakfast parfaits. What usually happens is that one or both go bad.
we're now using plain nonfat greek yogurt instead. greek yogurt tastes just like sour cream, so, don't need to buy sour cream anymore. And for my parfaits or anytime I feel like eating yogurt, I add about one part flavoring/preserves to three parts greek yogurt (adjust for your taste.) also, a dollop on top is a yummy way to serve fresh fruit.
the greek yogurt has 17 grams of protein and contains live and active cultures (on label) that keeps your gut happy. Even better, you can change up the flavor every time, such as apple or pumpkin butter, or any variety of spreadable fruits, blueberry, apricot, etc.
